KAMMCO is pleased to share a new enhancement from our online education partner, Med-IQ, that makes it easier for physicians to track continuing medical education (CME) credits.
Beginning July 13, 2026, Med-IQ will automatically report CME credits to the ACCME Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for physicians who complete eligible Med-IQ activities and choose to participate. This enhancement helps reduce the administrative burden of tracking and reporting CME credits for licensure and board certification.
How Automatic Credit Reporting Works
When you complete an eligible Med-IQ activity and opt in to automatic credit reporting, Med-IQ will submit your CME credits directly to ACCME PARS.
ACCME then shares those credits with participating state licensing boards and medical specialty boards, helping streamline the reporting process and reduce the need for manual submissions.
View Your Credits in CME Passport
Reported CME credits will also be available through CME Passport, ACCME's national CME credit repository. Once your credits have been reported, you can log in to view your CME portfolio and download a transcript of your reported activities.
Credits typically appear in your CME Passport account within 30 days after they are reported.
Please note that the transcript available through the Med-IQ learning management system (LMS) will continue to function as it always has.
What You Need to Do
To take advantage of automatic credit reporting, simply opt in when completing eligible Med-IQ educational activities.
