KAMMCO members have two opportunities to reduce their 2027 policy premium while strengthening their knowledge of risk management and patient safety. By participating in eligible educational activities, individually insured members may earn a combined 7% premium credit on their 2027 policy renewal.
Earn a 5% Loss Prevention Premium Credit
The 2026 Loss Prevention Program delivers practical education focused on reducing professional liability risk while improving patient care.
Eligible individually insured KAMMCO and KAMMCO Casualty members who complete the Loss Prevention Program will receive a 5% premium credit on their 2027 policy renewal. Members may participate by attending an in-person presentation, joining a live webinar, or completing the online course through Med-IQ.
Insured facilities are also eligible for the 5% premium credit when the facility's administrator or risk manager completes the Loss Prevention Program.
Earn a 2% Risk Management Premium Credit
Eligible individually insured members can earn an additional 2% premium credit by completing one qualifying Risk Management course through Med-IQ by September 30, 2026.
Members may complete up to 6 Med-IQ Risk Management courses. While you'll receive continuing education credit for each eligible course you complete, the Risk Management Education premium credit is capped at 2%, regardless of how many courses you take.
Take Advantage of Both Opportunities
These educational programs do more than help lower your premium; they provide practical guidance that can strengthen your practice, improve patient safety, and reduce professional liability risk.
