It is KAMMCO’s understanding that the Kansas Board of Nursing will address this provision of Senate Substitute for House Bill No. 2279 in regulations to further define coverage types and limits, which will meet the Board’s expectations for licensure. Once the Board issues the regulations, KAMMCO will take steps to inform its members of the requirements and provide the appropriate coverage to satisfy the new requirements.
