K-TRACS, the Kansas prescription drug monitoring program, is a valuable clinical decision-making tool available for Kansas healthcare providers. K-TRACS staff will provide an overview of the program, how it’s being used across the state, and trends in controlled substance prescribing. The presentation will also cover how K-TRACS information is reviewed internally, the K-TRACS Advisory Committee’s authority to review patients and prescribers of concern, and how healthcare organizations can access prescribing information.
This program is designed as a 1-hour “lunch and learn” webinar for everyone on the healthcare team, including physicians, clinic managers, hospital and facility administrators, risk managers, nurses, long-term care providers, and other health professionals.
