What can yesterday’s claims teach us about tomorrow’s care? Lessons from the past can serve as rich sources of learning and uncover practical insights for improvement. Through a reflective analysis of past claims, our panelists will explore common themes such as communication breakdowns, documentation pitfalls, and system risks. The program emphasizes not only what went wrong, but also why and how to enhance patient safety and reduce the risk of similar issues in the future.

Med-IQ designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification Program

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Loss Prevention Annual Policy Credit
Individual Providers
By participating in the 2025 Loss Prevention program, eligible insureds receive a 5% loss prevention credit on their 2026 policy premium. This applies to individually insured members.
Facilities
The facility’s administrator or risk manager must participate for insured facilities to receive the 5% loss prevention credit.
Uninsured Providers
Individuals who participate in this program and are not currently insured by KAMMCO may be eligible to receive a policy premium credit if they become insured by KAMMCO within one year after participation.
