Payment Timing Impacts Compliance and Credentialing
To ensure your 2026 KAMMCO insurance policy is processed smoothly, timing matters. Make sure your payment reaches KAMMCO by November 30, 2025. Payments received by the end of November are reported to the Health Care Stabilization Fund (HCSF) in December, which means you are more likely to get credentialed before January 1.
Payments made in December are not reported to the HCSF until January, which could delay proof of compliance. If demonstrating compliance with the HCSF is important to your employer, please plan your payment accordingly.
Choosing the Best Payment Method
The fastest and most reliable way to submit your payment is by ACH transfer. Mailing a paper check can cause delays due to postal transit times.
Regardless of the payment method you choose, please include your name and policy number to ensure your payment is applied correctly. If you’re unsure if your ACH payment included these details, please email underwriting@kammco.com to confirm. Our team will be happy to verify receipt and accuracy.
