Renewal Information for 2024 KAMMCO Policies

The renewal period for 2024 policies starts in September. Here’s what you can expect.

#1 For Immediate Action

Let us know if your email address, residential address, or other contact information changed in 2023. Email your changes to underwriting@kammco.com using the subject line Contact Information Changes.

If anyone has recently left your practice or will be leaving your practice before the end of 2023, send us your cancellation paperwork now to expedite your renewal paperwork.

#2 Policy Renewal Communications will be Sent via Email

Starting in September, our underwriting department will use email to communicate with you about your policy renewal (unless you have specifically requested paper communication).

Items we will transmit by email include:

  • Renewal instructions
  • Policy documents
  • Premium invoices
  • Premium financing documents

Make sure to check your spam or junk folders for our emails and add us to your email contact “safe” list.

#3 Renewal Applications are Required for Everyone

To renew your policy, we must receive a renewal application from you.

We process policy renewals in the order they’re received. The earlier we receive your fully completed information, the sooner you’ll receive your policy documents.

We anticipate beginning to issue policy quotes in mid-October.

#4 Group Policy Information and What to Expect

For group policies, your office contact (i.e., practice manager, daily operations officer, etc.) should collect your group’s renewal applications and submit them to us as a batch. Unfortunately, we cannot process your renewal until we receive all your group’s account information.

Once we process your group’s policy renewal, your office contact will receive your group’s premium information unless we are directed to do otherwise in your group’s initial communication.

#5 KAMMCO Election of Payment Form

We ask insureds to complete and submit the KAMMCO Election of Payment Form. Before renewing your policy, we need the completed form to ensure we apply the proper credits. For group policies, only one payment option may be elected for the entire group. Individual members of group policies cannot elect an individual payment method.

If the form is not returned with your renewal documents, KAMMCO will renew your policy using the same payment method as the prior year. If the policy was on a quarterly payment plan and payments were not made in a timely manner, payment may be adjusted to an annual payment method at KAMMCO’s discretion. Requests for a change in payment method after your policy has already been renewed may delay processing.

#6 Premium Finance Information

Financing for your annual premium is available through Fidelity State Bank and Trust. Look for more information from us, including the relevant documents, in your email beginning in September.

#7 Cyber Higher Limits Application (if Cyber higher limit coverage has been elected)

You do not need to complete an application if you are not electing cyber security higher limit coverage.
