PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Ashley will illustrate how documentation and professional liability insurance interconnect. She will deliver information and education on documentation standards as well as provide answers to common questions surrounding documentation issues, such as how to handle record errors and omissions. Actual case scenarios will be presented to further demonstrate how documentation errors occur and how they can impact patient care.

Physicians, physician clinics, hospitals, nursing facilities and nursing staff.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Ashley is a Nurse Reviewer at KAMMCO. She is a registered nurse who graduated from the Washburn University School of Nursing in 2011. Ashley reviews medical records, prepares reports and conducts research for KAMMCO’s malpractice claims department.
