Proxy Information
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with the Bylaws of Kansas Medical Mutual Insurance Company, the Annual Meeting of the Members will convene at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 12, 2026, for the purpose of electing directors and transacting such other business as may properly come before the meeting. The Annual Meeting will be held in the Board Room at the KAMMCO offices located at 623 S.W. 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas.
Pursuant to Article III, Section 2, of the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Company, the Governance and Nominating Committee has recommended the following persons to serve on the Board of Directors for a term expiring at the Annual Meeting of Members in 2029.

- Therese E. Cusic, MD, Physician (Wichita, KS)
- Zachary C. Kuhlmann, DO, Physician (Wichita, KS)
- Kurt Scott, KAMMCO CEO (Topeka, KS)
Candidate Biographies
Mark D. Brady, MD
Overland Park, Anesthesiology
Dr. Brady received his undergraduate degree from Emporia State University in 1985. In 1987, he pursued his doctorate of medicine, which he received in 1991 from the University of Kansas, Wichita.
Dr. Brady has previously served as an ex officio KAMMCO board member as President-Elect, President, and Past-President of the Kansas Medical Society. This would be Dr. Brady's first term as an elected member of the KAMMCO Board.
Therese E. Cusick, MD
Wichita, Surgery
Dr. Cusick received her undergraduate degree in 1987 from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota; her master's degree in 1990; and her doctorate in medicine in 1994 from the University of Illinois. Dr. Cusick has been a surgeon dedicated to the care and treatment of breast cancer in Wichita, Kansas, since 2000.
This would be Dr. Cusick's third and final term as a KAMMCO board member.
Qualification of Members
The membership of this corporation shall be limited to any Individual or any Entity that has entered into a contract of insurance with the corporation. Each member who had a contract of insurance with Kansas Medical Mutual Insurance Company as of April 30, 2026, shall be entitled to one (1) vote. The voting of the proxies is very important to your company.
Proxy Deadline
Although proxies will be accepted and counted up to Friday, June 12, at 10:00 a.m., voting your proxy as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated.
