Analytics Dashboards

For the first time physicians and hospitals are able to access advanced analytics utilizing clinical data, across all HIE participating providers from whom a patient has received care. Clinicians who particiate in the KAMMCO HIE network and use the KAMMCO dashboards can proactively manage the care of their patients in ways that have never been possible before while also establishing efficient methods to meet the new MIPS/APM reporting requirements.

KAMMCO has made it a priority to capture the voice of the physician in development and delivery of the KAMMCO dashboards by engaging a pilot group of Kansas physicians and hospital professionals. As a result, physicians and hospitals actively contributing HL7 or CCD data to the statewide exchanges who partner with KAMMCO benefit from access to aggregate clinical data from the longitudinal patient record through web-based dashboards.

Using the KAMMCO analytics dashboards can ease the transition to quality payment programs by providing physicians access to patients’ aggregated data from the HIE presented through meaningful analysis. Web-based analytics subscribers can run and view reports derived from the patient data in the HIE, as well as download and import the data into other software tools. The dashboards present report details in a dynamic way, allowing the authorized user to manipulate the view of the data and isolate key data points.

  • The web-based analytics subscribers can run and view reports derived from the patient data in the Health Information Exchange, as well as download and import the data into other software tools.
  • The dashboards present report details in a dynamic way, allowing the authorized user to manipulate the view of the data and isolate key data points.
  • KAMMCO, developer of the analytic dashboards, recently received notification from CMS that its Doctors Quality Reporting Network achieved Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) status for 2018. A QCDR is a CMS-approved entity that collects clinical data on behalf of clinicians for data submission.
  • By achieving registry status, the Doctor’s Quality Reporting Network marries the collection of patient data and the submission of data in one entity for physicians' use.
  • In brief, a physician's CMS submission can be calculated using data directly extracted from the Health Information Network. The result is quality reporting that is both efficient and seamless.
  • The Doctors Quality Reporting Network currently submits National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and ONC certified electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs), Advancing Care Information (ACI) and Improvement Activities (IA) to CMS.
  • The metrics cover management of chronic diseases, preventive care screenings, use of appropriate medications, use of electronic medical records, patient engagement and overall cost of care reductions.
