On October 14, 2016, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued its final rule implementing the QPP that is part of the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). The QPP improves Medicare by helping providers focus on care quality and the one thing that matters most — making patients healthier. Visit the following links for more resource information on QPP:
KaMMCO Education on Quality Payment Programs
Since the beginning, KaMMCO has worked diligently to offer education programs relevant to insured physicians, hospital administrators and risk managers, as well as others involved in the delivery of quality health care. We understand the massive healthcare transition to Quality Payment Programs (QPP) begining in 2017 will be a considerable area of focus and activity for our members.
KaMMCO, KaMMCO Health Solutions, Inc, (KHS) and the Kansas Health Information Network (KHIN) are partnering in 2017 to provide a series of events aimed at assisting physicians as they make the transition to the QPPs. Awareness of new technology and analytics solutions can support physicians in achieving high scores in the four MIPS measurement areas of quality, cost, clinical practice improvement and advancing care information. Visit the KaMMCO Events page
to register for an upcoming education program.
